Skipper & 1st Mate included.
For this exciting half-day on the water, launch in the motor vessel Majestic is 7am in summer and 9am in winter from the Hermanus New Harbour. Within five nautical miles from the Overberg coast, we will have arrived at the reef fishing grounds. Here we typically find hottentot, red stumpnose and silver fish, and if we are lucky, snoek and mackerel too.
The trip lasts four to five hours. We arrive back at the harbour around 1pm.

Please note that before a fishing trip, it is essential to obtain a recreational fishing licence. For less than R100, this can be obtained from the South African post office (R7 application fee plus R87 annual recreational angling permit, or R45 for a four-week permit).
